Firehouse Subs is expanding its menu lineup with the national release of two new hot sandwiches. The Smokin’ Honey Chicken Melt and the Smokin’ Honey Steak Melt will be available at participating locations starting Monday, July 6, 2026.
Both new menu items feature an all-new honey chipotle sauce designed to offer a sweet, smoky, and mildly spicy flavor profile. The subs are built with extra melty provolone cheese, brown sugar caramelized onions, and red and green bell peppers on a toasted signature top-sliced roll.
Customers can choose between sliced white meat grilled chicken breast or flame-seared USDA Choice prime rib. The medium size chicken version contains 55 grams of protein, while the medium steak option contains 47 grams of protein.
Alongside the new sandwiches, the chain is introducing a limited-time Cookies & Crème Cookie baked fresh in-restaurant daily. The dessert consists of a blonde cookie mixed with white crème chips and chocolate sandwich cookie pieces.
A portion of all customer purchases at the restaurant chain benefits the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The organization provides lifesaving equipment and resources to first responders, having awarded more than $115 million across North America to date.
