Build-A-Bear Workshop has released an expanded line of Harry Potter plush products in stores and online. The release arrives ahead of the fictional character’s birthday on July 31.
The updated lineup includes a new Harry Potter Bear alongside clothing options such as sweaters inspired by Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. The collection also introduces house mascot plush items featuring the Gryffindor Lion, Ravenclaw Raven, Hufflepuff Badger, and Slytherin Snake.
Returning items in the product line include Hogwarts house robes, scarves, school uniforms, a interactive sorting hat, light-up wands, and bear carriers. Anjali Khosla, vice president of brand management at Build-A-Bear Workshop, stated that the collection combines the character franchise with the company’s personalized assembly experience.
Alongside the product launch, the company is hosting a sweepstakes running from July 31 through August 7. U.S. and U.K. residents can enter through Build-A-Bear’s official social media platforms, with one grand prize winner selected in each country.
The U.S. grand prize package includes four tickets to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, four round-trip airline tickets, a two-night hotel stay, and a private VIP Build-A-Bear Workshop session.
The launch coincides with broader franchise developments, including the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and an upcoming television series scheduled to premiere on HBO Max. Build-A-Bear operates more than 650 locations globally across more than 30 countries.
