Apple TV hosted the world premiere for its upcoming comedy series Brothers on Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles.
Stars and executive producers Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson attended the event alongside ensemble cast members Natalie Martinez, Brittany Ishibashi, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton, Noah Carganilla, Highdee Kuan, Oona Yaffe, and Holland Taylor. Executive producers Lee Eisenberg, Natalie Sandy, Trish Hofmann, and Jeremy Plager were also present.
The series stars McConaughey and Harrelson as fictionalized versions of themselves whose friendship is tested after learning a decades-old secret that they might be brothers. The plot unfolds after Woody’s daughter suffers a broken engagement, prompting him to move his family to Matthew’s ranch in Austin, where Matthew’s mother, Ma Mac, played by Holland Taylor, reveals the potential family connection while Matthew considers a run for governor of Texas.
Produced for Apple TV by Paramount Television Studios, the show is executive produced by Eisenberg, McConaughey, Harrelson, Sandy, David West Read, Hofmann, Bill Bost, Jason Winer, David Finkel, Brett Baer, and Plager. Trent O’Donnell directed multiple episodes of the series, including the pilot.
Brothers debuts globally on Apple TV on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, launching with its first two episodes. New episodes will release every Wednesday through Nov. 4, 2026.
