Shipley Donuts has launched a 10-week promotion to celebrate its 90th anniversary. Running from August 10 through October 18, the event includes rotating value deals, new menu items, and loyalty program incentives across its locations.
The company was originally established in Houston in September 1936 by Lawrence Shipley Sr. at a single bakery on Crockett Street. The brand has since expanded to nearly 400 locations operating across 13 states, serving handmade donuts and savory kolaches.
As part of the anniversary, the chain introduced the Birthday Bullseye donut, which features sprinkles mixed into the dough and strawberry icing. The new item is included in the limited-time 1936 Shipley Favorites Box alongside traditional varieties like original glazed, cherry iced, chocolate iced, and Bavarian cream.
The schedule of promotions features a duo deal pairing a donut and kolache starting at $4 from August 31 through September 13. Glazed donuts will be offered for 90 cents each from September 14 through September 27, with a limit of 12 per customer.
The celebration concludes with bonus points for loyalty program members on purchases made between September 28 and October 18. Details regarding participating locations and specific offer terms are available on the company’s website and social media profiles.
