Adam Lambert has released his sixth full-length studio project, a self-titled independent album called ADAM. The 12-track record is being issued through the singer’s own label and distributed by The Orchard.
The new music combines electronic elements with live instruments, drawing inspiration from 1990s alternative music. Pete Nappi serves as the executive producer for the project, which features cover art by fashion photographer Nick Knight.
An official music video for the new track “Cloud 9” debuted alongside the album release. Directed by Robin Hunter Blake, the video features Lambert wearing an archival 1996 Alexander McQueen mask.

The track list includes new songs such as “Rat City” featuring Isaac Dunbar, which serves as a tribute to New York City. The album also features the self-produced ballad “Am I OK” and a track titled “Porcelain” featuring Lexie Liu.
Previously released singles from the record include “Eat U Alive” and the song “Under the Rhythm,” which uses a sample from the classic pop track “Around the World (La La La La La).”
To support the release, Lambert has scheduled a series of live shows and album signings across the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe. The performance dates began on July 10 in Los Angeles and include stops in Brooklyn and London before concluding on July 23 in Berlin.
The promotional schedule also features special signing events at retail locations. Scheduled stops include the Barnes and Noble location at The Grove in Los Angeles on July 11 and the Fifth Avenue Barnes and Noble location in New York City on July 14.
