Post Sex Nachos release new single ‘Sound of You’ ahead of spring co-headline tour
Midwest indie rock outfit Post Sex Nachos released their latest single, “Sound of You,” as the band prepares a co-headline tour with Kids That Fly.
The track, available now on all major streaming platforms, follows the success of the band’s previous single “SOS,” which spent more than 12 weeks in the SiriusXM Alt Nation Top 18. Lead singer Sammy Elfanbaum described the new song as a meditation on finding peace through personal connection.
“‘Sound of You’ is about longing for someone who brings you peace—the kind of person who can always break through the smoke, no matter what dark cloud is hovering around you,” Elfanbaum said.
Formed by Elfanbaum and Chase Mueller, the four-piece ensemble has transitioned from a viral name into a formidable touring act. The group has appeared at major festivals including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Summerfest, and recently sold out headline dates at venues such as Chicago’s Bottom Lounge and New York’s Baby’s All Right.
The band is also known for hosting “Nacho Fest,” an independent event that has drawn crowds of more than 1,000 attendees.
Post Sex Nachos will begin a co-headlining tour with the band Kids That Fly on April 9.
“Sound of You” serves as a follow-up to the band’s “Booster Pack” EP. Known for blending genre-bending energy with emotional honesty and a touch of humor, the band continues to expand its reach within the alternative rock scene.
