Las Vegas-based dance music trio The Mega-Scopes will make their Los Angeles performance debut with a headlining concert in Hollywood. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, at Gold-Diggers.
The group blends electronic dance music, hip-hop, and trance with live acoustic instrumentation. Their live performances incorporate pulsating basslines, synths, electronically treated vocals, spoken word audio clips, and synchronized film projections.
Musically compared to contemporary electronic acts like The Floozies, Glitch Mob, Beats Antique, and Big Gigantic, the trio has built a performance style centered on high-energy electronic rhythms.
The trio originally launched their official recording catalog with a self-titled debut EP in 2023. Since that initial extended play, the band has issued a series of standalone singles, including their recent track “Divide & Bloom.”
Ahead of the September concert, the group released a live performance video alongside a video for “Divide & Bloom.” An edited audio preview for their upcoming single, “Move Your Chevrolegs,” is also available on SoundCloud.
