Cheez-It has teamed up with American pop cuisine brand Chain to open the Cheez-It Court, a custom-branded food court stall at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Los Angeles. The month-long experience runs daily from Sept. 2 through Sept. 30, 2026.
The pop-up serves as the inaugural brand partner stall for Chain’s six-month food court residency at the mall. The space features Y2K design elements, including retro-inspired employee uniforms and branded counter designs.
The menu includes three original dishes made with Cheez-It crackers. The Cheez-Y-Bun features a cinnamon roll with Cheez-It Extra Cheesy-seasoned cream cheese frosting, shortbread crumble, salted caramel, and a cracker topping.
The Crunchy Cheez-Dog coats a Wagyu hot dog in a panko and cracker crust, served with mustard, ketchup, a pickle, and cracker seasoning. The Cheez-Steak includes sliced ribeye, American cheese, grilled onions, pickled jalapenos, dill pickle aioli, and a Hot & Spicy cracker crumble on a seasoned hoagie roll.

Nicole Sorensen, vice president of marketing for Cheez-It, noted that the collaboration focuses on transforming food court staples into a gathering space for fans. Nicholas Kraft, chief creative officer of Chain, highlighted the return of mall culture and in-person dining experiences.
Following the opening of the pop-up, Cheez-It plans to publish the recipes for all three menu items online so consumers can make the dishes at home.
