PetSmart has unveiled its 2026 Thrills & Chills Halloween collection, offering costumes, toys, treats, and seasonal accessories. The exclusive lineup includes products designed for dogs, cats, reptiles, and small pets.
The release coincides with data from a June 2026 PetSmart survey of 1,558 pet parents, which found that 71 percent plan to celebrate Halloween with their pets. Additionally, 47 percent of dog and cat owners indicated plans to dress up their pets for the holiday.
“Every pet has its own quirky personality, and the Halloween season is a chance for pet parents to show that off,” said Matt Byrnes, senior vice president of merchandising at PetSmart. “We created our 2026 Thrills & Chills collection to help them celebrate together with costumes, toys, treats and accessories for dogs, cats, reptiles and small pets.”
The costume lineup spans classic and trending designs, including pumpkin, bat, dragon, and dinosaur outfits, as well as pop-culture options like pink cowboy sets, lobsters, and Highland cows. Apparel options also extend to small animals and reptiles with specific pumpkin, banana, and hot dog costumes.
The collection features seasonally themed treats such as pumpkin cookies, mummy meat sticks, and Western-inspired plush toys. Select items, including festive bandanas, tees, and various pet toys, are priced under $10.
In-store experiences include a themed grooming package featuring a pumpkin spice latte spritz, as well as special playdate events hosted at locations from October 15 through November 2.
