Propstore has announced its Summer Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction, scheduled to take place from August 26 through August 29 in Los Angeles. The four-day event features more than 1,700 original film and television props, costumes, and production materials valued at an estimated $10 million.
Leading the auction is the iconic three-piece white suit worn by John Travolta as Tony Manero in the 1977 film Saturday Night Fever. Estimated between $200,000 and $400,000, the costume was previously owned by film critic Gene Siskel and includes a handwritten inscription from Travolta.
Other high-profile items include the principal costume for Frank the Rabbit from the 2001 film Donnie Darko, estimated at $100,000 to $200,000, and a screen-matched mosquito in amber fossil from Jurassic Park with the same price estimate. An original Golden Snitch prop from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is also listed with an estimated value of $25,000 to $50,000.

The first day of the auction on August 26 will include in-room bidding at The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles alongside global online, phone, and absentee options. The remaining days of the sale from August 27 through August 29 will proceed via online, absentee, and telephone bidding only.
