Singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo made an unannounced appearance at Licorice Pizza Records in Studio City, California, to launch a worldwide fan scavenger hunt with the LEGO Group. The event brought 100 fans to the historic record store to celebrate the upcoming LEGO Editions Olivia Rodrigo collection.

The venue transformation utilized more than 110,000 LEGO bricks, requiring over 500 hours of design, engineering, and model assembly. The installation featured a 2.42-meter-tall recreation of Rodrigo’s concert moon built from 77,000 bricks, where the artist answered questions during a fan session.
The event initiated the LEGO Editions x Olivia Rodrigo Vinyl Hunt, a promotion featuring 333 limited-edition brick-built vinyl records hidden in music shops across the globe. Clues revealing the participating record store locations will be released through social media channels over the coming weeks.

Julia Goldin, chief product and marketing officer at the LEGO Group, noted that the real-world search is designed to connect fans across communities through local record stores. The promotional hunt aligns with five new collectible LEGO sets reflecting songs, performances, and themes from Rodrigo’s albums and tours.
Rodrigo stated that the record store event provided a memorable way to launch the collaboration and engage directly with fans. The LEGO Editions Olivia Rodrigo collection releases globally on August 1, 2026, through official retail channels and online stores.
