A new live entertainment series called Up Close & Campy is offering all-inclusive weekend experiences at Camp Starlight in Pennsylvania. The series combines intimate performances, storytelling, comedy, recreation, and summer camp nostalgia.
The project was created through a collaboration between Full Access Strategy and Burgers & Dogs. Full Access Strategy was founded by music manager and Camp Starlight owner David Miller, while Burgers & Dogs is led by experiential event producer Jordan Burger.
The concept merges Miller’s experience operating summer camps with Burger’s background in creating immersive fan events. The organizers designed the series to combine artist performances with camp activities, campfire storytelling, and social connections in a relaxed setting.
Each weekend package includes lodging, chef-prepared meals, live performances, outdoor recreation, and opportunities to interact with featured artists. Travel to the venue is not included in the ticket price, but optional transportation is available, including a private charter bus from the New York City metro area and access from nearby regional airports.
The series officially launched in June with an intimate campfire event featuring Brett Dennen, titled Camp Dennen. The event is scheduled to return to Camp Starlight in 2027, with official dates to be announced.
