The espionage thriller Lioness will return for its third season on Sunday, August 2, on Paramount+. Along with the premiere date, the streaming service revealed first-look images for the upcoming season.

Created and written by Taylor Sheridan, the female-led series follows the Lioness team as they deploy on a highly personal assignment. The new season focuses on a collision of hidden networks, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals.

Joe, played by Zoe Saldaña, faces a shifting landscape where names vanish and paths rearrange. Guided by characters played by Nicole Kidman and Michael Kelly, Joe confronts enemies operating in the shadows while balancing her duties and home life.

The cast features several Academy Award winners and nominees. Saldaña and Kidman star and serve as executive producers. The series also stars Morgan Freeman, Michael Kelly, Laysla De Oliveira, Dave Annable, and Jill Wagner.

Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios produce the global-scale drama. Executive producers include Sheridan, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, and Michael Friedman.

The first two seasons of the show remain available to stream on the platform ahead of the August premiere. Paramount+ is operated under Paramount, a Skydance Corporation.
