Grace Ives to support Olivia Rodrigo on 2027 tour; releases ‘Fire 2’ video

Vocalist and producer Grace Ives will join Olivia Rodrigo as support for the European and U.K. legs of Rodrigo’s 2027 tour, representatives announced last week.
Ives is scheduled to perform during Rodrigo’s arena dates in London, Amsterdam, Stockholm, and Munich next spring. The announcement follows the release of Ives’ latest album, Girlfriend, which debuted this spring via True Panther/Capitol Records.
In conjunction with the tour news, Ives released the official music video for the track “Fire 2.” The video was directed by her longtime creative partner, Samuel Metzger.
Ives is currently in the midst of a headlining tour across North America and Europe to support the new record. The tour, which began April 17 in Philadelphia, includes stops in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Paris, and London. According to the announcement, 10 of the scheduled dates have already sold out.
Girlfriend was written and produced alongside Grammy Award-winner Ariel Rechtshaid and John DeBold, with mixing by Dave Fridmann. The album marks Ives’ return to music following a three-year hiatus and follows her 2022 breakout release, Janky Star.
The new album is currently available for physical purchase on CD and signed “Girlfriend Pink” vinyl. To coincide with the tour announcement, the label has also made the record available on 7-inch vinyl.
