Descendents reclaim ‘Enjoy!’ with new reissue via Org Music

Org Music released a comprehensive reissue of the Descendents’ landmark 1986 album “Enjoy!” marking the third installment in an ongoing campaign to return the band’s foundational catalog to print. The release follows the group’s successful reclamation of their master recordings.
Originally released in 1986, “Enjoy!” features the band’s signature blend of high-speed melody and juvenile humor. The album includes notable tracks such as “Hürtin’ Crüe” and “Get the Time,” along with a punk-inspired cover of The Beach Boys’ “Wendy.” While the band is often credited with helping define the pop-punk genre, “Enjoy!” captured a period of evolution where the group integrated subtle new wave and pop influences into their aggressive sound.
“This classic album has it all. Punk riffs, catchy hooks, and even scatological humor,” reported The Hard Times. “One could say it is the perfect album.”
The new edition is available across multiple formats, including CD, cassette, and various color-vinyl variants. Among the offerings is a special “Punk Note” edition featuring alternate artwork by John Yates. The packaging is inspired by the iconic Blue Note jazz designs of Reid Miles and Francis Wolff, a visual series that Org Music previously utilized for its Bad Brains reissues.
The “Punk Note” edition includes new liner notes by BrooklynVegan senior editor Andrew Sacher and is housed in a deluxe case-wrapped jacket. Exclusive vinyl variants have been produced for specific retailers, including Zia Records, Amoeba Records, and BrooklynVegan, as well as a “Green Green” LP available exclusively through the band.
This release follows Org Music’s previous reissues of “Milo Goes to College” and “I Don’t Want to Grow Up.” The archival series is dedicated to ensuring the Descendents’ core discography remains accessible to both longtime fans and new listeners in high-quality physical formats.
