New Tommy Hilfiger collection blends vintage sailing styles with technical apparel

Tommy Hilfiger has introduced its Summer 2026 collaborative collection with the U.S. SailGP Team. The release marks the second performance capsule produced under the multi-year partnership between the fashion brand and the racing team.
The apparel lineup is designed for use both on and off the water, merging technical performance features with the brand’s traditional American style. According to leadership from both organizations, the collection is intended to reflect a modern space where high-speed sports competition and fashion intersect.
Mike Buckley, Co-Owner, Team Principal and CEO of the U.S. SailGP Team, stated that the pieces were designed to function on the race course, in the city, and in between environments.
The collection brings back several items from the first season, including a waterproof and windproof sailing jacket made from three-layer ripstop canvas. A moisture-wicking, anti-odor performance polo also returns to the lineup. New silhouettes introduced for the summer line include a quarter-zip rugby shirt and sweatshirts utilizing designs inspired by the structure of a sail.
The color palette relies on red, white, and blue, alongside navy, black, ecru, and sandalwood. Designers added citra lime as a contemporary accent color on hoodies, caps, and flag T-shirts, drawing inspiration from vintage jackets. A separate all-black edit is also available for specific silhouettes.
An abstract, sail-inspired studio set with a pale blue wash was used for the collection’s marketing campaign. Maritime signal flags have historically influenced the visual identity and iconic flag logo for Tommy Hilfiger, which is part of PVH Corp.
