Goose releases new single “Torero”

Goose is back with “Torero,” a high-intensity new single pulled from its upcoming album Big Modern!, arriving June 12.
The track wastes no time setting a mood. Built on a synthetic drone and echoing percussion, “Torero” steadily escalates into a layered, synth-driven surge. Frontman Rick Mitarotonda threads sharp guitar lines through the mix while Peter Anspach expands the sound with swelling synth textures, pushing the song toward a dramatic, guitar-heavy climax.
“Torero” continues the band’s recent momentum following “Good2B,” which gained traction through an offbeat promotional rollout featuring Jake Lacy and a viral moment at Madison Square Garden. That campaign hinted at the broader themes behind Big Modern!, a record shaped by the overload of modern digital life.

The upcoming album spans 15 tracks and leans into Goose’s genre-fluid approach, mixing improvisational roots with polished production and expansive arrangements. With “Torero,” the band sharpens that balance, delivering a track that feels both tightly constructed and explosively unrestrained.
