Country musician Tim McGraw has released two new songs, titled “Pawn Shop Guitar” and “Song for America,” marking his first new music releases in over a year. The tracks follow a period of rest and physical recovery for the three-time Grammy Award winner, who had previously been sidelined by back and knee issues.

The autobiographical track “Pawn Shop Guitar” was co-written with Tom Douglas and serves as the namesake for McGraw’s upcoming summer tour. The lyrics detail McGraw’s early career as a young musician, including the memory of selling his class ring to buy a cheap guitar from a pawn shop in his hometown.

The second track, “Song for America,” was written by JT Harding and Tom Douglas to coincide with the upcoming 250th birthday of the United States. The patriotic song describes the geographic landscape and diversity of the country while explicitly paying tribute to American troops and veterans. McGraw is scheduled to perform the track live for the first time on June 6 at CMA Fest.

Following the music releases, McGraw will launch his 33-date “Pawn Shop Guitar” North American headline summer tour on July 9 in Bethel, New York. The tour itinerary includes three stadium performances at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania, Fenway Park in Boston, and Target Field in Minneapolis. The stadium dates will feature special guests The Chicks and Lady A, with 49 Winchester and Timothy Wayne providing general tour support.

Tickets for the tour are currently on sale. To manage ticket distribution, a premium fan experience platform called McGrawONE+ has been introduced. The platform offers exclusive ticket presales through a dedicated app, with a purchase limit of eight tickets per show.
