Greta Van Fleet releases new single and music video Play Your Games
Rock band Greta Van Fleet has released a new single and accompanying music video titled “Play Your Games.” The track represents the band’s first new music release since stepping away from the limelight.
The single was recorded in Tennessee, where the band co-produced the track alongside producer Mike Elizondo. The songwriting draws directly from one of the oldest demos in the band’s archives, aiming to capture the style of their early performances in Frankenmuth, Michigan. According to guitarist Jake Kiszka, the track represents “this beautiful nature of seizing a moment.”
The official music video for the single was produced and directed by MOONBASE ®. The release follows a recent unannounced, sold-out underplay performance at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City earlier this week.
“To take the stage again and share new music feels profoundly emotional and exciting,” vocalist Josh Kiszka stated regarding the band’s return to live performance and the audience reception.
The single and music video are both available now across digital streaming platforms.
