Taking Back Sunday will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 2006 album Louder Now with a deluxe edition set for release on October 16 through Craft Recordings. The anniversary release includes the original album alongside bonus B-side tracks titled “Brooklyn (If You See Something, Say Something)” and “Sleep.”
The vinyl edition will feature the two bonus tracks on an exclusive 7-inch disc, with a “Silver Screen” color vinyl option available widely at retail. Additional limited-edition color pressings will be distributed through Craft Recordings, independent retailers, the band’s online store, Revolver, Alternative Press, Zia Records, and Seasick Records. A standalone “Oxblood” single-LP pressing of the original album will also be sold globally at select retailers.
The album originally debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart following its 2006 release on Warner Bros. Records. Produced by Eric Valentine, the project featured the lead single “MakeDamnSure” alongside tracks “What’s It Feel Like To Be A Ghost?” and “Liar (It Takes One To Know One).” It earned Gold certification within two months of its release and was named Kerrang!’s Album of the Year in 2006.
The release coincides with an extensive touring schedule for the Long Island band. Following appearances on the Vans Warped Tour and a tour with Bayside, the group is scheduled for fall U.S. dates supported by Thrice and Saves The Day. The tour includes festival appearances at Louder Than Life, Shaky Knees, Riot Fest, and a headline show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, where the band will perform Louder Now in full.
Frontman Adam Lazzara, John Nolan, and Shaun Cooper have been joined on the road by former guitarist and vocalist Fred Mascherino, who returned for the 2026 performances alongside touring musicians Nathan Cogan Post and Mitch Register.
“Our record Louder Now represents a huge milestone for me and to know it has made an impact on so many other people’s lives as well is something I still struggle to get my head around,” Lazzara said. “To have the opportunity to celebrate that record with both John Nolan and Fred Mascherino on stage together, along with Shaun Cooper, is incredible to me.”
