Singer-songwriter Role Model, the stage name for Tucker Pillsbury, has released his third studio album, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass, through Interscope Records. The project was written and produced by Pillsbury alongside Mason Stoops and Taylor Mackall.
The album explores themes of time, love, and single life, blending genres while pairing folk-inspired production with his signature songwriting style. The project marks his newest release following the deluxe edition Kansas Anymore (The Longest Goodbye), which expanded on his July 2024 sophomore album.
To mark the release, Pillsbury is scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss the record and perform the focus track, “Harmony.” He previously appeared on the show and Saturday Night Live to perform his viral hit, “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out,” which had a surprise guest appearance by Charli XCX alongside a performance of “Some Protector.”
In support of the record, the musician will launch CHUCK ON TOUR this fall, starting with a North American leg on Sept. 9, 2026, in Bend, Oregon. Featuring opening act Samia, the tour will stop in major cities such as New York, Nashville, and Los Angeles before concluding in Berkeley on Oct. 18.
The European portion of the tour begins on Feb. 11, 2027, in Berlin with opening support from Keni Titus. Pillsbury is currently completing a summer festival circuit that includes appearances at Primavera, Bonnaroo, and Leeds.
The album rollout began in June with the lead single “High Hopes 3000,” which was accompanied by a music video directed by Danica Kleinknecht. The track marked Pillsbury’s first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
A second single, “Joy,” was released last month alongside a video co-starring Aidan Delbis and directed by Pillsbury and William DeSena. Outside of music, Pillsbury is set to make his acting debut alongside Natalie Portman and Mark Ruffalo in the upcoming Netflix feature film Good Sex, directed by Lena Dunham.
