The Spanish original series Rage returns for its second installment on Friday, October 9, on HBO Max. Created and directed by Félix Sabroso, the second season, titled Rage Part 2, is produced by Producciones Mandarina for HBO Max in Spain.
Ahead of its streaming premiere, the series will be presented on Monday, September 21, at the San Sebastián Film Festival. Directors Félix Sabroso and Jau Fornés will attend the festival presentation alongside cast members Maribel Verdú, Carmen Maura, María León, Cecilia Suárez, Ana Mena, Clara Sans, Claudia Salas, and Ana Torrent.
The narrative of the new season follows several women navigating a market-driven system where personal circumstances are turned into public spectacle. The characters confront their situations through collective anger.
The upcoming season consists of eight 30-minute episodes. Sabroso co-wrote the scripts with Juan Flahn and co-directed the season with Jau Fornés. Executive producers include José María Caro, Antonio Trashorras, and David Ocaña for HBO Max, along with Santi Botello and Sabroso for Producciones Mandarina.
Rage originally premiered in July 2025 as one of HBO Max’s most-watched series in Spain. The show’s initial season earned a special jury prize at the Rose d’Or Awards and an Ondas Award for its ensemble lead cast.
