New Balance announced two new running shoe models designed to function as a training and race day package. The release includes the SuperComp Rebel for daily training and the SuperComp Elite v6 built for race day performance.

The SuperComp Rebel is a lightweight trainer that incorporates a precision-engineered propulsion plate and Infinion midsole foam. It features a FANTOMFIT upper designed to provide support during workouts, tempo sessions, and daily training runs.

The SuperComp Elite v6 serves as the brand’s primary marathon racing shoe. The updated model features a redesigned carbon-fiber plate that increases stiffness and propulsion, paired with an Infinion foam platform and a translucent mesh upper.

Professional athletes assisted in the development process by providing performance feedback. World champion triathlete Alex Yee and American marathon record holder Emily Sisson contributed testing input during the shoe’s design phase.

The SuperComp Elite v6 carries a suggested retail price of $275, while the SuperComp Rebel is priced at $190. Both models will be available globally during the summer at New Balance retail stores and online.
