National ‘Ghostbusters’ concert tour to feature live orchestra

Ghostbusters in Concert tour 2026

Schirmer Theatrical and Black Ink Presents announced a 35-city North American tour of “Ghostbusters in Concert,” beginning Sept. 18 in Spokane, Washington.

The production brings the 1984 film to performing arts centers across the country, pairing the cinematic screening with a live symphony orchestra. Musicians will perform the film’s complete score and soundtrack live-to-picture on stage.

The creative team includes Peter M. Bernstein, who assisted in reconstructing the original score composed by his father, Elmer Bernstein. The tour follows the global success of similar performances held with the National Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

General ticket sales open Friday, April 3, at 10 a.m. local time. The tour is scheduled to visit major markets throughout the fall, including New York City, Salt Lake City, and Indianapolis. Exclusive VIP packages featuring curated memorabilia will also be available for fans in select cities. Click here for VIP packages.
