Singer and songwriter Natasha Bedingfield has released a new single titled “Dot Dot Dot,” marking her first new solo music release in several years.
The track was co-written with indie songwriter Brett Hitte, formerly of the band Frenship. Built around alt pop synths, a drum loop, and guitar, the song draws on personal experiences in the music industry and themes of perseverance.
The new release follows a resurgence in popularity for Bedingfield’s earlier catalog, including tracks such as “Pocketful of Sunshine,” “These Words,” and Unwritten. The musician currently averages nearly 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with the majority of her audience between the ages of 18 and 34.
Bedingfield left the major-label system nearly a decade ago and has continued to write, record, and tour independently. Her music has recently gained traction through social media, festival appearances, and usage by professional sports teams and touring DJs.
The single is available to stream and download across digital platforms as Bedingfield continues her international festival and headlining show commitments.
