Nashville Barrel Company has expanded into Kentucky with the opening of Louisville Rickhouse Whiskey Company in Louisville’s NuLu district. Located at 717 E. Market St., the venue officially opened on July 17, 2026, during the annual NuLu Summerfest event.
The new location represents the company’s third brick-and-mortar facility and its first physical site in Kentucky. Founded by Mike Hinds, James Davenport, and Casey Kostrzebski, the facility includes a working distillery, full tasting bar, retail bottle shop, and space for private events.
The destination offers guided tastings, whiskey flights, and a private barrel-pick program. The product selection features curated bourbon, rye, American whiskey, agave spirits, and single-barrel offerings.
Nashville Barrel Company was established in 2018 and currently distributes products across more than 30 states. The brand was recently named Tennessee Blender of the Year and earned Best in Class honors for its single-barrel bourbon at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The Louisville site operates seven days a week for public tours, bottle sales, and tasting sessions. Additional details regarding scheduling and private barrel programs are available through the company’s website.
