Morrissey and The Smashing Pumpkins to headline Darker Waves 2026
Morrissey and The Smashing Pumpkins will headline the Darker Waves Festival on Nov. 14, 2026, marking the event’s return to the Huntington Beach City Beach.
The ocean-side festival features more than 35 artists across three stages, highlighting a lineup of post-punk, new wave, and alternative legends. Notable performers include Simple Minds, Bad Religion, Adam Ant, The Psychedelic Furs, Soft Cell, and The Damned.
The 2026 roster also includes the Manic Street Preachers, Gary Numan, Silversun Pickups, Buzzcocks, and Marky Ramone.
Fans can register for the festival’s SMS list at the official website to receive a passcode for the presale, which begins Thursday, April 2, at 10 a.m. PT. Lowest-priced general admission tickets will be available during the first hour of the presale.
The festival offers several tiered ticket options, including GA+, VIP, and Ultimate VIP. Premium packages provide amenities such as air-conditioned restrooms, dedicated entry lanes, and preferred viewing areas. The Ultimate VIP tier includes unobstructed views of both main stages, a dedicated concierge team, and complimentary meals and drinks.
Official vacation packages are also available, pairing festival tickets with beachfront stays at local resorts, including the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach and The Waterfront Beach Resort.
