The live music streaming platform nugs announced a promotional summer offer that lowers its monthly membership rate to $5 per month for a three-month period. The promotion reduces the subscription cost from the standard rate of $14.99 per month.
The discounted rate is available from July 13 through August 15 for new subscribers and eligible returning subscribers whose last billing cycle ended more than a month ago. The three-month promotional pricing begins on the specific day an individual registers through the company website.
Subscribers gain access to an array of upcoming concert livestreams, official live audio recordings, and on-demand videos from several touring acts. The summer broadcasting schedule includes every set from the Billy Strings tour between July 14 and August 8, alongside dates from the Goose tour running through September 2.
The service will also provide next-day official audio from nearly every night of the Dave Matthews Band summer tour, which concludes at The Gorge Amphitheatre on September 6. Additionally, the platform plans to host live audio and select full-concert video from Widespread Panic, as well as a two-night broadcast of The String Cheese Incident at Red Rocks.
Festival coverage is included in the summer lineup, starting with the 4848 Festival in West Virginia from July 16 to July 18. Later in the month, the platform will stream performances from the 54th Annual RockyGrass Festival in Colorado and the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival in Pennsylvania.
Brad Serling, the founder and chief executive officer of nugs, stated that the plan is designed to give music fans an accessible way to experience ongoing tours and festivals. Serling noted that members can either watch the performances live as they happen or view them later on demand.
The platform’s catalog also features archival content and official recordings from artists such as Metallica, Bruce Springsteen, Jack White, and Santana. Once the three-month promotional period concludes, the subscription automatically renews at the standard monthly rate unless the user cancels.
