Billy Idol announces summer 2026 tour dates

Rock legend Billy Idol will return to the road this summer for the next leg of his global tour, “It’s A Nice Day To…Tour Again!,” with a run of arena and amphitheater dates beginning in August.
Produced by Live Nation, the summer stretch kicks off Aug. 7 at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The tour follows a successful string of sold-out performances across the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Following the amphitheater run, Idol is scheduled for a week-long residency, “Hot In The City: Las Vegas,” at the Fontainebleau from Aug. 28 through Sept. 5.
The announcement comes during a high-profile year for the punk pioneer, who is currently a nominee for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2026. His career is also the subject of a new documentary, “Billy Idol Should Be Dead,” directed by Jonas Åkerlund, which is now streaming on Hulu.
Idol is touring in support of his first full-length album in over a decade, “Dream Into It,” released via Dark Horse Records. The album, which reached No. 7 on the U.S. Top Albums Chart, features longtime collaborator Steve Stevens along with guest appearances by Joan Jett and Avril Lavigne.
Tickets for the new dates will be available through a Citi presale starting Wednesday, April 8, followed by an artist presale later that day. General ticket sales begin Friday, April 10, at noon local time through the artist’s official website.
With a career spanning nearly 50 years, from his start with Generation X to his status as a global solo superstar, Idol continues to draw critical acclaim for his live energy. Recent reviews have noted that despite four decades in the industry, his stage presence remains as authoritative and charismatic as ever.
