The Las Vegas Raiders and Intermountain Health have announced a $25 million donation to help build Nevada’s first stand-alone children’s hospital. The pledge marks the largest philanthropic commitment in the football franchise’s history.
The contribution was led by Raiders owners Mark Davis, Egon Durban, and Michael Meldman, who each contributed $5 million, along with an additional $10 million committed directly by the team organization.
Located at the UNLV Harry Reid Research and Technology Park, the planned 828,000-square-foot facility will sit on a 33-acre campus. The hospital will feature 180 patient beds, specialized pediatric emergency services, inpatient unit spaces, and an outpatient care center.
In recognition of the gift, Intermountain Health will name two dedicated spaces after the team. The facility will house the Las Vegas Raiders Bistro near the main lobby and the Las Vegas Raiders Inpatient Rehab Gym, which will provide physical therapy and recovery programs.
Intermountain Health has served as the official healthcare partner of the Las Vegas Raiders since 2019. Construction on the project is scheduled to begin in the coming months, with an anticipated completion and opening date set for 2030.
