Jersey Mike’s Subs has announced the limited-time return of Mike’s Hot Italian sub to participating locations nationwide. The menu item returns just ahead of the start of the National Football League season.
The hot sub features ham, salami, and pepperoni grilled and chopped together under melted provolone. It is topped with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and the company’s signature chopped pepper relish.
The sandwich costs $8.95 for a regular size. It will be available for a limited run across the country, following its initial debut earlier in the year.
The company serves as the official sub sandwich sponsor of the NFL. Jersey Mike’s President and Chief Operating Officer Stacy Peterson noted that bringing back the sandwich aligns with the start of the football season.
Alongside the sandwich return, members of the MyMike’s loyalty program can enter a free-to-play NFL Predictor Game. Prizes for the contest include gift cards and a trip for two to the Super Bowl.
