Trafalgar Releasing has unveiled an exclusive first-look clip from 2 Big to Rig, the upcoming feature film capturing rock band Ghost on their Skeletour world tour. The clip features a live performance of the track Umbra recorded in Mexico City.
Directed by Amir Chamdin, the concert film documents the final leg of the band’s world tour from February 2026. The movie will open in cinemas and IMAX theaters worldwide for a limited engagement starting Wednesday, August 26.
The performance footage was captured over two sold-out nights at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. The shows drew nearly 40,000 attendees to the venue following the cancellation of an earlier planned date due to illness.
The feature film covers songs from across the group’s six studio albums, including their 2025 release Skeletá. The setlist also incorporates non-album tracks such as Mary On A Cross, Kiss the Go-Goat, and The Future is a Foreign Land.
2 Big to Rig was produced by Tobias Forge, Kristen Mulderig, Rick Sales, Matilda E. Almeida, and Jessica Roulston. Tickets for the global theatrical screenings are currently on sale.
