Garage Beer has chosen a Philadelphia couple who will marry at a tailgate wedding on Oct. 26 at the TrueFan Tailgate in Philadelphia. The company announced the selection Tuesday after opening entries to Philly couples for the chance to win the wedding.
Garage Beer is teaming up with Kingsford, Steven Singer and TrueFan Travel for the event. Delco Donny and Philly Pops will provide music. Matt Groark, known as The Meat Teacher, will cook tailgate food over Kingsford charcoal for guests, and Garage Beer Classic and Lime will be served throughout.
The couple will receive a $2,000 gift card for wedding rings from Steven Singer. Garage Beer is also partnering with Ocean Casino Resort to give them a honeymoon, plus a second trip in 2027. Surprise celebrity guests will attend, including Beau Allen.
“Garage Beer is all about bringing people together,” said Andy Sauer, the company’s founder. He said the brand has received many wedding invitations over the years, which has been a rewarding way to stay close to its community. Sauer said Philly has long supported the brand, which has shot commercials, held red carpet premieres and attended Eagles tailgates in the city.
The company has also planned other Philly activations and limited-edition releases. A 15-pack designed by Philly artist Jordan Spector goes on sale across the city starting Nov. 1. On Oct. 25, Garage Beer and Spector will host a Sip & Shop at Jawn Supply in West Chester, Pennsylvania, where fans can buy limited hats and shirts. More limited quantities will be released throughout the year.
Delco Donny’s Tailgate Karaoke is also launching at the stadium complex, giving fans a chance to sing. A Jason Kelce-inspired “62 Pack,” a case of 62 beers, hit stores last week.
Garage Beer is a 4% alcohol by volume lager with 95 calories and 3 grams of carbohydrates. It comes in Classic and Lime and is sold in all 50 states.
