Food Network is expanding its summer programming schedule this July with the debut of four original series, a new tournament format, and the return of an established competition track. The upcoming slate includes new titles focusing on culinary mishaps, live-fire barbecue, restaurant rescues, and international cuisines.

“Food Network is expanding its summer slate with bold new originals and content designed to drive audience engagement,” said Betsy Ayala, President of Food Network. She noted that the lineup combines these new productions with fresh takes on existing network properties.

The month’s competitive programming begins Wednesday, July 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT with the debut of Guy’s Grocery Games: Global Games. Hosted by Guy Fieri, the five-part tournament features eight chefs specializing in international cuisines competing for a $50,000 grand prize.

Following the tournament at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the new series Kitchen Chaos premieres. The show compiles viral food videos, kitchen mishaps, and unusual recipes, featuring commentary and practical advice from professional chefs to analyze what occurred during each clip.

On Monday, July 13 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the network will premiere Pitmasters, a week-long live-fire cooking competition filmed in a wilderness setting. Hosted by Andrew Zimmern, the series requires teams to cook through consecutive days to win a $50,000 prize. Zimmern is joined on the judging panel by Jess Pryles, Moe Cason, and Ernest Servantes.

A new variation of a network franchise, Restaurant Impossible: Last Call, premieres Thursday, July 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The program features chef Aarón Sánchez managing culinary adjustments while Canadian restaurateur Jen Agg redesigns front-of-house operations for struggling businesses across North America.

The Great Food Truck Race returns for a new season on Sunday, July 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Hosted by Tyler Florence, this season divides eight competing teams into four savory-themed trucks and four sweet-themed trucks. The route begins in Nashville, travels through the Great Smoky Mountains, introduces a new bottom-two head-to-head elimination round, and concludes at Churchill Downs in Louisville for a $50,000 prize.

Later in the month, the network will introduce Kitchen Undercover, an ambush-style rescue series. The show features chef Antonia Lofaso monitoring operations from a central command center while sous chef Nestor Milian works embedded inside failing restaurants to identify operational issues before Lofaso intervenes.

The digital expansion includes new content on the Food Network YouTube channel, featuring Cook Like an Italian with Gabe Bertaccini, Cooking with Choi hosted by Esther Choi, and Guy’s Feast Club with Guy Fieri. Pitmasters, Kitchen Chaos, Kitchen Undercover, Restaurant Impossible: Last Call, and The Great Food Truck Race will also be available for next-day streaming on HBO Max.
