Discovery Channel will premiere a new unscripted television series titled Secret Life of a Vegas Casino on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The program provides behind-the-scenes access to the daily operations, staff, and guests at the Golden Nugget casino in Las Vegas.
Located off Fremont Street, the series documents the casino floor and administrative staff managing high-stakes gaming, VIP hosts, guest security, and hotel management. Cameras follow employees handling high rollers, emergency responses, and large-scale special events around the clock.
The show captures a range of operational challenges faced by the casino crew, from security team responses during late-night brawls to staff moving sharks within the venue’s 200,000-gallon aquarium tank.
In the series premiere, hotel staff initiate a facility-wide search following the disappearance of a $1,000 casino chip. Simultaneously, gaming surveillance teams monitor a group of card counters operating along Fremont Street.
The opening episode also highlights front-desk staff resolving hotel check-in disputes, security officers managing patron confrontations, and a VIP host assisting a high roller following a six-figure winning streak.
