Cornell Art Museum will present Art on the Square, a two-day juried outdoor fine art show, on Nov. 7 and 8 at Old School Square in downtown Delray Beach. Admission is free.

The show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8. It takes place on the museum’s front lawn and the Swinton lawn at 51 N. Swinton Ave. Parking is available in the Old School Square Garage.

About 100 juried artists from around the country will show original work. Visitors can meet the artists and buy art while they walk the historic campus. The show also includes live music, refreshments, live mural painting demonstrations and a children’s art space.

Local nonprofits Art Connect, Urban Sketchers and Creative Art School will take part. Awards will be given for first, second and third place.

Marusca Gatto, the museum’s cultural arts director, produces the show. She said it welcomes regional artists as well as national artists who travel to the campus. She said the goal is to bring the community and visitors to downtown Delray Beach with a range of artists in one place, including regional nonprofit art groups.
