Cold Stone Creamery brought back its seasonal Boo Batter Ice Cream for the Halloween season across locations nationwide. The limited-time offering turns the company’s traditional Cake Batter Ice Cream pitch black through Oct. 31, 2026.
The promotional flavor features several seasonal menu items, including the Treat or Treat Creation, which mixes Boo Batter Ice Cream with Kit Kat pieces, Halloween Oreo cookies, and M&M’s.
The seasonal lineup also features the Witches’ Boo Shake, which blends Boo Batter Ice Cream with Halloween Oreo cookies, whipped topping, and spooky sprinkles. Additionally, stores are offering the Boo Batter Ice Cream Taco, which combines the black ice cream inside an orange waffle taco coated in chocolate and sprinkles.
According to Vice President of Marketing and Digital Strategy Courtney Maxedon, the annual product return serves as an established tradition for the brand during the October holiday period. Customers can purchase the limited-time items at participating ice cream shops through the end of the month.
Cold Stone Creamery is a national ice cream chain headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, operated under parent company Kahala Brands. The company specializes in custom ice cream creations mixed on a frozen granite stone.
