BABYMETAL announces 2026 world tour and deluxe album release

Japanese metal sensation BABYMETAL marked the annual “Fox Day” celebration by announcing a 2026 world tour across North America and Latin America, alongside a deluxe reissue of their hit album METAL FORTH.
The North American leg of the tour features support from Grammy-winning rock band Halestorm and alternative artist Violent Vira. Artist presales for the U.S. and Canadian dates begin Monday, April 6, at 10 a.m. local time, with general ticket sales starting Friday, April 10.
The trio — consisting of SU-METAL, MOAMETAL, and MOMOMETAL — also confirmed that METAL FORTH (DELUXE EDITION) will be released June 26 via Capitol Records. The expanded version includes three live tracks and remixes by Major Lazer and Jordan Fish. A physical vinyl release will feature a zoetrope design that animates icons from the record when played.
The announcement follows a historic year for the group. METAL FORTH debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 last year, making BABYMETAL the first all-Japanese fronted group to reach the U.S. Top 10. The album has amassed more than 200 million global streams to date.
Since forming in 2010, BABYMETAL has evolved from a Japanese viral phenomenon into a global touring force, previously opening for acts such as Lady Gaga, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Korn.
Tickets for the Latin American portion of the tour will go on sale to the general public April 22.
