Anthrax partners with Dark Matter Coffee for limited edition brew

Hard rock band Anthrax has partnered with Dark Matter Coffee to launch a limited-edition coffee blend titled “Cursum Perficio.” The collaboration coincides with the upcoming release of the band’s 12th full-length studio album, Cursum Perficio, scheduled for release on Sept. 18 through Megaforce Records.

The custom coffee blend combines washed process Catuai beans from Nicaragua with a blend of Bourbon and Pacas beans from El Salvador. Processed at the Cafe Tuxpal mill, the coffee features chocolatey and nutty flavor notes with a subtle citrus finish.

The “Cursum Perficio” coffee is available in 12-ounce bags with multiple grind options, including whole bean, drip, espresso, press pot, and pour over. The release is also being offered in an eight-pack Coffee Cold configuration.

The new album marks the band’s first full-length release in ten years following their 2016 record, For All Kings. The lineup features guitarist Scott Ian, drummer Charlie Benante, bassist Frank Bello, vocalist Joey Belladonna, and guitarist Jonathan Donais.

Recorded primarily at Studio 606 in Los Angeles and produced by Jay Ruston alongside Anthrax, the album will be available in multiple physical formats. Options include standard CDs, exclusive retailer variants, and several double LP vinyl editions featuring pop-up gatefold packaging.
