Trey Anastasio announces live acoustic album

Phish frontman Trey Anastasio released a new 22-song live collection Friday, documenting his 2025 solo acoustic performances and signaling the start of a new run of intimate tour dates this spring.
The album, titled “Trey Anastasio – Live and Acoustic,” was released on April 3 via Rubber Jungle Records. Produced by Vance Powell, the record features stripped-down versions of songs spanning Anastasio’s 40-year career, including fan favorites “Stash,” “Waste,” and “Divided Sky.” Longtime collaborator Jeff Tanski provided piano accompaniment on several tracks.
The release coincides with the announcement of the “An Acoustic Evening with Trey Anastasio” tour. The run is scheduled to begin May 26 at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon.
The tour will also feature high-profile orchestral collaborations. Anastasio is slated to perform with the Colorado Symphony at a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 7, followed by a sold-out appearance with the Kansas City Symphony at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts on June 10.
The acoustic dates follow a busy spring for the guitarist, who is also preparing for a sold-out, nine-night residency with Phish at Sphere in Las Vegas starting April 16.
Anastasio, a three-time Grammy nominee and Tony Award finalist, has increasingly balanced his work with Phish alongside solo acoustic and symphonic projects. His upcoming tour concludes with a two-night residency at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, on June 23 and 24.
