Hershey’s Chocolate World will begin its holiday season Nov. 13 at the home of the Great American Chocolate Bar in Hershey, Pa. The attraction is offering seasonal experiences, limited-time treats, and exclusive merchandise for guests of all ages.
Guests can take photos with Hershey’s characters HERSH, KISS and REESE from Nov. 13 to Jan. 3. Photos with Santa are available from Nov. 13 to Dec. 24 on select days. The free Hershey’s Chocolate Tour Ride gets holiday décor, a seasonal soundtrack, enhanced finale projections, and the return of the Hershey Elves through Jan. 3, in Pennsylvania only.
The Hershey’s Chocolate House returns in November and runs through January. It is inspired by one of Milton Hershey’s original candy shops, decorated entirely with Hershey’s chocolate and candy, and supports the Children’s Miracle Network. Ahead of the Hershey movie, the attraction is also offering a limited-edition Milton Hershey Movie Bear, Milton’s Chocolate Caramel Milkshake, and Milton Hershey’s Caramels, based on his original 1894 recipe and sold in 12-ounce pouches.
The holiday menu includes the Hershey’s Almond Cluster Big Cookie, the Hershey’s Kisses Strawberry Sugar Cookie Cheesecake and the KIT KAT Santa Mousse Parfait. Drinks include the Hershey’s Kisses Snickerdoodle Milkshake, the York Peppermint Pattie Milkshake and four seasonal Melted Hot Chocolates: Affogato Mocha, Salted Caramel Creme, S’mores and KIT KAT Peppermint Stick. The York Peppermint Patty Dirty Soda launches Nov. 4 in Pennsylvania.
Guests 21 and older can order cocktails, including The Milton, made with salted caramel vodka, coffee liqueur, and Hershey’s Caramel Syrup. A non-alcoholic mocktail version is also available. The Jolly Rancher Appletini is offered to guests 21 and older as well. Some treats and drinks are available in Pennsylvania only, and some are offered at the Times Square location.
New merchandise includes the Our Cupcake Saves Christmas book, a Holiday Hershey’s Kisses Light-Up Necklace, blanket hoodies, and foodie plush, while supplies last. A New York City plush will launch exclusively at the Times Square store.
The Amazing Candy Machine also gets a holiday refresh in November and December. Guests can fill a tin and choose a holiday-themed sleeve, or fill a large plastic jar and wrap it with a stretch ribbon. On Dec. 31, the family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration runs from 3 to 8:30 p.m., with a DJ dance party featuring the year’s top songs and hourly countdowns.
“The sweetest part of the holidays is spending time together,” said Suzanne Jones, vice president at The Hershey Experience. “At Hershey’s Chocolate World, we love giving families a place to celebrate traditions, discover something new and create memories that last long after the season ends.”
Hershey’s Chocolate World was founded in 1973, with its flagship location in Hershey. It also has locations in Times Square in New York City, Las Vegas, Niagara Falls, and Singapore.
