Reebok Work has launched the Trailgrip Work Hiker with External Met Guard, a men’s safety hiker for workers who need impact protection, stability, and comfort. Warson Brands, the official licensee of Reebok Work, announced the shoe on Oct. 13.

The shoe has a durable action leather and PU upper, an aggressive traction outsole and an external metatarsal guard. The guard protects the metatarsal bones from falling and rolling objects, as well as impact and compression hazards. It also has an ASTM F2413-compliant XTR alloy safety toe and electrical hazard protection.

The slip-resistant rubber outsole has an active traction lug pattern for grip. A DMXRide foam midsole provides cushioning and shock absorption, and a MemoryTech memory foam footbed adapts to the foot. A MicroWeb lacing system improves fit and lateral stability, and a stability bar supports the forefoot. The XTR Extra Wide Toe Box gives toes more room to move.

Reebok Work designed the hiker-inspired shoe for people who spend hours on their feet in industrial facilities, warehouses, outdoor work environments, and production floors. The company said it combines the athletic comfort workers expect from Reebok with the safety features that heavy-duty settings require.

Workers can buy the Trailgrip Work at select retailers or at reebokwork.com. Retailers interested in purchasing the shoe or viewing marketing and sell-through support can visit the Warson Brands portal.
