Boom Ball has announced a 30-city tour for 2027 that will feature a Babe Ruth hologram experience. Select dates have already sold out, and more stadiums will be added in the coming weeks.
The new attraction will re-create Ruth’s Called Shot from the 1932 World Series using hologram technology, projection mapping, immersive audio, and live storytelling. It will serve as the grand finale of each Boom Ball event.
Each two-hour, co-ed show features six innings, with the Lucky Llamas facing the Chaos Crew in a twist on traditional baseball. The games include trick plays, stunts, and appearances by baseball and softball players. The 2027 season will also bring expanded fan experiences and enhanced production elements.
“Boom Ball is about creating unforgettable moments for kids and families,” said Lauren King, vice president of marketing at Boom Ball. The Luminary Group, the exclusive worldwide representative of the Babe Ruth League, Inc. and the Family of Babe Ruth, said the experience gives fans of all ages a chance to engage with Ruth’s story.
The tour schedule is posted on the Boom Ball website. Fans can also enter a lottery for tickets to a game near them through the site.
Boom Ball is entering its second season after a nationwide inaugural tour. The organization will continue its partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with charitable initiatives planned throughout the season.
