The Honey Baked Ham Company has launched Deluxe Ham and Turkey Sandwiches and Protein Cups at participating locations nationwide. The new items have been available since Oct. 5.
The Deluxe Ham Classic includes 50% more Honey Baked Ham, extra Swiss cheese, mayonnaise, Hickory Honey Mustard, lettuce and tomato on a croissant. It has 45 grams of protein.
The Deluxe Turkey Classic includes 50% more roasted or smoked Honey Baked Turkey and the same toppings on a Baker’s Roll. It has 51 grams of protein.
Each Protein Cup holds 6 ounces of ham or turkey. The ham cup has 32 grams of protein, and the turkey cup, available roasted or smoked, has 38 grams.
Chef Tim Ziga, culinary director for The Honey Baked Ham Company, said protein has always been central to the menu. He said the new items are meant to make it easier to enjoy HoneyBaked throughout the day. The company says the launch highlights its everyday menu beyond holiday occasions.
