Pixies announce 7 new tour dates in September 2026

The Pixies have announced a new run of U.S. tour dates, adding seven September shows to their 2026 schedule as the band continues to mark four decades in music.

Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale Friday, March 27, at 10 a.m. local time through the band’s official website, pixiesmusic.com.

The upcoming run includes headline performances in Greenville, S.C.; Wilmington, N.C.; Louisville, Ky.; Columbia, Mo.; Santa Fe, N.M.; and Tucson, Ariz. The band will also appear at festivals, including the Borderland Music Festival in East Aurora, N.Y., and the See Hear Now Festival in Asbury Park, N.J.

The new dates follow the band’s 2025 tour and mark its first North American shows since that run. The Pixies, widely credited as pioneers of alternative rock, continue to tour behind a catalog that has influenced generations of musicians.

The current lineup features founding members Charles “Black Francis” Thompson, Joey Santiago and David Lovering, alongside bassist and vocalist Emma Richardson.

The band released its most recent album, “The Night the Zombies Came,” in 2025 through BMG. The album was met with positive reviews and adds to a discography that includes landmark releases such as “Doolittle,” “Surfer Rosa” and “Bossanova.”

Formed in 1986, the Pixies have spent nearly 40 years shaping alternative rock, with songs such as “Where Is My Mind?” continuing to reach new audiences. The band is expected to perform additional international dates before the newly announced U.S. leg of the tour.
