
Matchbox Twenty will perform a special one-night-only show at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday, Oct. 12. The intimate concert marks the start of a yearlong celebration honoring the band’s 30th anniversary.
The show will feature songs from their 1996 debut album Yourself or Someone Like You, which included singles such as “Push,” “3AM,” “Real World,” “Back 2 Good,” and “Long Day.” The lineup features band members Rob Thomas, Brian Yale, Paul Doucette, and Kyle Cook.
Ticket registration is open from Friday, Oct. 2, at 12 p.m. PT through Sunday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. PT. Selected fans will receive invitations starting Wednesday, Oct. 7, with ticket sales taking place on Thursday, Oct. 8, and Friday, Oct. 9.
Matchbox Twenty released their fifth studio album, Where The Light Goes, in 2023 following an 11-year gap between releases. The album was produced by Gregg Wattenberg and was followed by the band’s global Slow Dream Tour across 2023 and 2024.
Formed in 1995, Matchbox Twenty has sold more than 40 million records worldwide and earned multiple Grammy Award nominations. Additional plans celebrating the band’s 30th anniversary will be announced in the coming months.
