Pop group BTS performed the closing set during the opening night of the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday, September 18, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The group appeared alongside a lineup that included Cardi B, Goo Goo Dolls, Kenny Chesney, Weezer, and Zara Larsson.
The appearance marked the group’s return to the festival stage after six years. The four-song performance was designed around an industrial theme titled BTS 2.0, symbolizing growth and transition through visual stage sets.
The performance opened with the song “SWIM,” featuring visuals of a massive concrete wall and rising water inside an oversized tank. The production transitioned into “2.0,” using overhead lighting and a warehouse setting to simulate an upward climb through an expanded structure.
The group followed with “MIC Drop,” emerging from a blackout through a tunnel set against cosmic imagery of galaxies and nebulae. The set concluded with “FYA,” featuring visuals of comets and desert flames alongside orange and white lighting displays.
The festival appearance follows the conclusion of the North American leg of the BTS World Tour Arirang. The tour sold out 31 shows across 12 cities, drawing approximately 1.92 million attendees, including four sold-out performances at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
