Epiphone has released the Marcus King El Dorado, a limited-edition signature acoustic guitar honoring the instrument that helped shape the artist’s early career. The Antique Natural acoustic model was inspired by King’s first guitar, which was a gift from his father.

The square-shoulder dreadnought features solid rosewood back and sides paired with a solid spruce top. Construction details include a mahogany neck with a C profile, a rosewood fingerboard with rounded mother-of-pearl block inlays, and 1970s-style headstock appointments.

Custom design elements honor King’s roots, including bridge inlays depicting South Carolina’s outline and Tennessee’s Tri-Star emblem. For amplified performance, the instrument includes an onboard L.R. Baggs Element Bronze under-saddle pickup and soundhole-mounted controls.

“This guitar means the world to me. My first El Dorado was a gift from my father, and it carried me through some of the earliest and most important moments of my musical journey,” King said. “It has always represented family, home, and the songs that shaped me.”

The instrument launch coincides with the release of King’s 12-track collection, Darling Blue / No Room For Blue, across streaming platforms. King and his band are currently supporting the music on the road with scheduled 2026 tour dates spanning New York City, Nashville, Chicago, Boston, and Atlanta.

The limited-edition guitar comes with a signature hardshell case and is available online at Epiphone.com, at Gibson Garage locations in Nashville and London, and through authorized global dealers.
