Build-A-Bear Workshop releases Halloween collection with Jumping Spider and returning favorite characters
Build-A-Bear Workshop launched its 2026 Halloween collection, introducing new furry friends and seasonal items for the autumn season. The lineup is available online and at participating Workshop locations beginning August 6 while supplies last.
The collection features the all-new Jumping Spider plush, inspired by the animal’s popularity across social media platforms. Guests can customize the spider using the interactive Make-Your-Own Experience with outfits, sounds, scents, and accessories, or select it in Mini Beans and bag charm forms.
Several other plush options join the seasonal release, including a Posable Bat with flexible wings and a larger Giant Posable Bat. Additional characters include the Mystical Werewolf, Enchanting Kitty, Batty Kitty, Owloween Cauldron Mashimal, and the returning Vault Collection Pumpkin Pal Teddy.
“Halloween continues to be one of our most anticipated seasons because it brings families, fans and collectors together through our signature Make-Your-Own Experience,” said Chris Hurt, chief executive officer of Build-A-Bear Workshop.
“This year’s collection pairs returning favorites, like our Posable Bat, with new, spooky furry friends such as the Jumping Spider, giving guests even more ways to create personalized memories at our Workshops and celebrate the Halloween season,” Hurt said.
The assortment extends to Halloween-themed Mini Beans collectibles featuring characters such as the Midnight Bat and Candy Corn Longhorn. Collectible bag charms, seasonal clothing options, and sound and scent add-ons complete the product line.
