Petco has officially launched its annual Halloween collection, featuring more than 300 seasonal items across its owned and national brands. The seasonal lineup includes costumes, festive toys, home decor, and treats designed for dogs, cats, and small animals, with prices starting at $3 and most items listed under $20.
The new costume selection spans traditional and humorous outfits, ranging from taco and shark designs to new additions like a grandma costume. The collection also includes matching human and pet apparel, as well as easy-on headpieces such as wigs and themed hoods.
Alongside apparel, the retailer is releasing autumn-themed pet toys, cat scratchers with interchangeable pumpkin toppers, and seasonal treats. The launch also emphasizes pet safety during fall festivities, offering glow-in-the-dark outdoor gear, weighted calming vests, and calming chews to help reduce anxiety during trick-or-treating hours.
In addition to Halloween merchandise, Petco is introducing several brand updates and grooming packages. A fall grooming add-on featuring seasonal scents will be available at full-service salons from late August through October, alongside expanded product lines from brands such as So Phresh and Hill’s Science Diet.
The company will also host a series of nationwide in-store events throughout August, including free treat giveaways for shelter dog celebrations, pumpkin spice latte tastings for dogs, and brand-sponsored food sampling events. The complete seasonal collection is currently rolling out online, through the brand app, and in retail locations across the country.
